Our Philosophy

At Equator Jingga, we view the furniture manufacturing process as a responsibility. We recognize that every piece we create leaves a carbon footprint, which is why we design furniture that is built to last for generations.

Throughout our production, we aim to find a perfect balance between efficiency and environmental stewardship. By embracing circular principles, we strive to minimize waste, repurposing by-products to give every material a second life.

Responsible Materials

We believe that ethical production starts with responsible sourcing. We select materials that are traceable and ethical:

Certified Timber: Our wood is SVLK and FSC® certified to ensure its traceability and legality.
Natural Rattan: Rattan’s rapid growth cycle and low-impact harvesting methods help preserve our local biodiversity.
Synthetics: We source synthetic fibres that are biodegradable and weatherproof to ensure high durability and safety for end-users. Ask us for OEKO-TEX® certified synthetic fibres.

Conscious Production & Packaging

Sustainability does not stop at material sourcing.
We treat our production process as an ecosystem where efficiency and resourcefulness go hand-in-hand.

Beyond the machines, we foster a culture of mindful usage of water and energy consumption in our daily work habits.
In our pursuit towards zero waste, we are repurposing wood scraps into smaller decorative accents or integrating them back into the production of new furniture pieces.
We are working towards eco-friendly packaging and reducing plastic components within the furniture packages while ensuring their durability during shipment.
